Recently I was invited onto City TV to take part in their Crocktober series. My take on crockpot cooking is that I’ll only do it if little (or no) prep is involved. After all who wants to spend all that time getting the meal together when you haven’t even undertaken the cooking part yet? I even used the phrase “anti-crockpot” to illustrate my point. 🙂 For this appearance I made a seafood chowder, with zero chopping involved, made almost entirely from canned ingredients with a few special additions at the end. The end result is a delicious and filling chowder you can make in or out of the crockpot in less than 30 minutes. You can view the 5 minute clip HERE.
