Grilled Greek Style Chicken Kabobs

This simple recipe is packed with flavour from the marinaded chicken & veg, and the finishing touches at the end make this dish an impressive and complete meal in itself. It’s perfect for entertaining. And because it’s so easy to put together, you’ll still have time to enjoy your guests!

  • Ingredients:
  • 4 large chicken breasts, cubed
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 zucchini
  • 3 large bell peppers
  • 12 large cherry tomates
  • Marinade:
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon rind
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons dried oregano
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce
  • 1/2 cup kalamata olives
  • Lemon wedges for garnish (if desired)


Combine ingredients for the marinade and place into a large ziplock bag along with the chicken pieces. Marinate for 30 minutes minimum or overnight. Cut the veggies into cubes and thread onto skewers along with the chicken. Heat the barbecue to medium and cook the skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, basting with leftover marinade as needed. Serve with a sprinkle of feta cheese, a dollop of tzatziki and a few olives on the side.
