Broiled Salmon with Maple-Mustard Glaze

I absolutely love this dish. The caramelization of the maple-mustard glaze is so tasty and gives the fish a delicate crust while keeping the inside moist. Plus with only 5 ingredients, it’s so easy to put together and is ready in 10 minutes.
- Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup grainy mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
directions:
In a small bowl combine all the ingredients for the glaze. Place the fish in a casserole dish and pour the mustard-syrup over top. Set your oven to broil and when the oven is fully heated place the fish in the middle rack and broil for 8-10 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fish, basting with the glaze after 5 minutes. It should be nicely caramelized on top with a slight crust on the corners. Remove from the oven and serve.
