Nacho Perogies

Nacho Perogies

I absolutely love nachos. It’s the ultimate pub food and goes perfectly with a frosty cold beverage. This recipe takes all the flavor of the snack and turns it into a meal. Perogies are a great vessel for any type of toppings you desire, and here we bake them with cheese and all the nacho toppings. The result is a hearty, delicious meal that everyone will enjoy.

  • Ingredients
  • 2 pounds frozen perogies
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 2 cups assorted nacho toppings (pickled jalapenos, olives, tomatoes, green onions, etc)
  • Salsa & sour cream (optional)

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 400. Spray a large baking dish with a generous amount of nonstick cooking spray (or grease with a little butter/oil) place a row of frozen perogies on the bottom and sprinkle on all the toppings. Cover with foil and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the perogies are hot and cooked all the way through. Set you oven to broil and cook for a few minutes (watching carefully) until the cheese gets a little crispy on top. Remove and place onto a platter. Serve with salsa and sour cream if desired.
