Broiled Tomatoes with Basil
This recipe can made with any type of tomato but Hothouse or heirloom work the best when making this recipe as a side dish. However they could also be served as an appetizer using cherry or campari varieties as no utensils are required. This dish comes together in minutes and is the perfect accompaniment for an Italian main course.

I love tomatoes. I wonder if you could add a bit of margerine to the bread crumbs? I love margerine too
Was also thinking adding Parmesan cheese to the mixture would be delish.
