Having spent some time in the Muskoka region of Canada recently I rediscovered my love of maple syrup. It’s pure sweet flavour lends itself to so many great dishes from breakfast to dessert. With that in mind, I developed a few new recipes featuring this classic Canadian ingredient starting with this delicious sandwich which combines the crunchiness of bacon with the smooth taste of goat cheese, all finished off with the sweetness of maple syrup.
