Matcha Green Smoothie
Green smoothies are super healthy on their own and a great way to add more veggies into your diet, the but they are made even better with the addition of matcha green tea. Extremely high in antioxidants, vitamins & minerals, this smoothie is a powerhouse to give you the energy you need to get through the day. I love having it for breakfast or as an afternoon pick-me-up. Due to the high caffaine content of matcha, I wouldn’t recommend having it in the evening.
- Ingredients
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 cup pineapple, chopped
- 1 kiwi, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup fresh apple juice
- 1 tablespoon matcha powder
- Ice
Directions:
Blend spinach with ice and apple juice until smooth. Then add the kiwi, pineapple and matcha and blend again. Serve chilled.
