Peanut Butter Jelly Oats
This recipe is so simple anyone can make it. Oatmeal is a breakfast staple with many health benefits and you can add any toppings your choose to enhance it. Adding a swirl of peanut butter and jelly makes this a slightly sweet, nutty alternative. I use natural peanut butter and no sugar added jam but you can use whatever you have on hand. In a pinch instant oatmeal can be used which makes this recipe even easier.
- Ingredients
- 1 cup large flake oats
- 2 cups water
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons jelly
directions:
Place the oats, water and salt into a pot and bring to a boil, Stir and cook for 2-5 minutes until thickened. Add the honey and stir. Pour the oatmeal into a bowl and top with swirls of peanut butter and jelly.
