Rum & Coke BBQ Glaze

The classic highball gets a new twist and transforms into a delicious barbecue glaze which is perfect for all your grilled meats, especially beef and pork. It has a sticky sweet flavor which is very fragrant but the taste from the rum is subtle.
- Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup rum
- 1/3 cup coke
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- pinch of salt
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients for the glaze and place it into a small pot over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Turn the heat down to low and simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
