Sweet and Salty Pretzel Bites

My Pilates instructor first introduced me to these during the holidays. I have tried many types of chocolate and nut combinations and they are all delicious but this recipe using Rolo chocolates and cocoa almonds are my favourite.
- Ingredients:
- 24 pretzel twists
- 24 rolo chocolates
- 24 cocoa almonds (or any other nut)
Directions:
Place pretzels onto a plate lined with parchment paper. Top each one with a rolo and then a nut and place into the microwave for 45 seconds – 1 minute until the chocolate is just melted but not too runny. Remove from microwave and while the chocolate is still warm, press the nuts down to spread the chocolate out and set the nut in the center. Allow to cool completely. These can be stored in an air tight container for up to a week.
