Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Walnuts

Brussels sprouts are generally one of those vegetables which people feel strongly about and either love them or hate them. Traditionally they were boiled or steamed and tended to be bland and bitter. Roasting them creates a crispy texture and milder flavor and in this recipe we combine them with salty bacon, toasted walnuts and parmesan cheese and finish it all off with a maple-balsamic glaze. Say goodbye to bitter and bland. These little gems are full of flavor!

My family loves the brussels steamed, but I don’t crave them : ( I usually eat a few to be polite, but I’m going to try to integrate these ones into the mix, for sure! Besides, how can a little bacon be bad??
Thanks! I’ll let you know how it goes. I know we will love them.
